Rahmi Fajar Harini Co-Founder Eco Tourism Bali Appointed as PHRI Bali Board Member (2025–2030)

Eco Tourism Bali is proud to announce that our Co-Founder, Rahmi Fajar Harini M.si, has been officially appointed as a Board Member of PHRI Bali for the 2025–2030 period. The inauguration took place during the formal induction of the PHRI Bali Provincial Board, marking a significant milestone for collaborative leadership in Bali’s hospitality sector.

PHRI (Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) is the leading hospitality association in Indonesia, representing hotels, restaurants, and tourism-related businesses nationwide. To date, PHRI comprises approximately 7,000 members across Indonesia, supported by 34 Provincial Boards (BPD) and 175 Branch Boards (BPC). At the provincial level, PHRI Bali plays a strategic role as the main industry platform for advocacy, coordination, and capacity building. The association represents more than 250 hotels and over 200 restaurants in Bali, working closely with government institutions and tourism stakeholders to support policy development, improve service standards, strengthen workforce capacity, and promote responsible and sustainable tourism across the island.

In this role, Rahmi will serve within the Environmental Division, under Social, Cultural, and Environmental Division, contributing her expertise in sustainability and regenerative tourism. Her appointment underscores the growing commitment of Bali’s hospitality industry to embed environmental stewardship, climate action, and responsible practices into its long-term development.

Pictured here is Rahmi alongside Prof. Gusti Agung Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya, S.E., MBA., a respected leader in Bali’s tourism sector, currently serving as Chair of PHRI Badung (2023–2028) and Head of the Social, Cultural, and Environmental Division. Together, Rahmi and Prof. Gusti Agung Ngurah Rai Suryawijaya will collaborate to advance a more sustainable and responsible tourism future for Bali.

This mandate aligns closely with Eco Tourism Bali’s mission to support hotels and restaurants in translating sustainability commitments into measurable action through capacity building, regenerative programs, and credible tools such as sustainability guidelines and climate impact initiatives.
