Coffee Talk at MarketFind 2025 with Eco Tourism Bali

On 5 September 2025, Eco Tourism Bali joined the stage at MarketFind 2025 with an engaging session titled “Coffee Talk: Eco Tourism Bali Best Practices.” The event brought together tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, and sustainability advocates eager to explore how Bali can lead the way in eco-friendly travel.

Moderated by Ibu Rahmi from Eco Tourism Bali, the session featured two inspiring speakers:

  • Putu Gede Elman Thiana, Sustainability Leader at Munduk Moding Plantation
  • Made Gunawan Artha, People & Culture Manager at Bali Beach Glamping

Both speakers shared powerful stories from their work in hospitality—showcasing how eco-tourism in Bali goes beyond green practices and becomes a movement of environmental stewardship and community empowerment. From innovative waste reduction and renewable energy use to supporting local farmers and cultural preservation, the discussion highlighted how small, consistent steps can create meaningful change.

Both speakers spoke not of abstract theories but of lived realities. Putu shared how sustainability at Munduk Moding is rooted in protecting the land and empowering farmers who have been its guardians for generations. Gunawan, on the other hand, painted vivid pictures of Bali Beach Glamping’s efforts—reducing single-use plastics, creating cultural programs for guests, and ensuring the local community benefits from every visitor who steps onto their beach.

What stood out most was their shared belief: eco-tourism is not a trend, but a necessity. It is the bridge between Bali’s vibrant traditions and its uncertain future. They reminded the audience that protecting Bali’s beauty is not just for tourists, but for the generations of Balinese children who deserve to inherit a thriving island. Bali’s tourism future depends on sustainability. This Coffee Talk reminded us that by integrating eco-conscious practices, tourism can remain a force for good protecting Bali’s natural beauty, uplifting local communities, and setting an example for destinations worldwide.

We are proud to have been part of MarketFind 2025, and this session is just the beginning. Together, let’s continue building a tourism model that celebrates Bali’s culture and nature while creating a positive global impact.
