Continuing the Journey: Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud’sOngoing Commitment to Sustainability

At Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud, sustainability is not a destination but a journey, one that extends far beyond awards or recognition. Receiving the Gold Eco Climate Badge from Eco Tourism Bali was an important milestone, but what truly matters is the consistent effort we continue to make every day to nurture both the environment and our community.

Through our signature program, 1% for Smiles and Trees, we dedicate a portion of direct booking revenue to initiatives that make a difference: planting trees, restoring green spaces, and providing support to those in need around us. These actions reflect our belief that hospitality should always give back to the land and people who make our existence possible.

Our commitment also extends to the way we operate the resort. From reducing waste and conserving energy to protecting Ubud’s lush biodiversity, we remain focused on making thoughtful choices that contribute to a greener future. Every step of growth at Arkamara is guided by responsibility, ensuring our progress benefits not just our guests, but the environment and local communities as well.

Last July, our resort expanded to welcome guests into the newest One-Bedroom Pool Villa with Rice Field view and Royal Two-Bedroom Pool Villa, designed to harmoniously blend modern comfort with Bali’s natural beauty. We have also opened our Yoga Shala, a serene sanctuary surrounded by lotus ponds and rice fields, where guests can reconnect with themselves and with nature. Each new addition to Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud is created with sustainability in mind, offering experiences that are both mindful and restorative.

For us, the Gold Eco Climate Badge is not the conclusion of our efforts but a reminder to stay consistent, keep innovating, and deepen our impact. The path ahead is about strengthening partnerships, expanding green initiatives, and inspiring both our guests and team members to embrace more sustainable ways of living. Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud remains committed to leading by example in responsible tourism, proving that true hospitality is about creating harmony between people, culture, and nature.
